We provided contract administration & project supervision for this Yellowhead Trail highway project
The project was completed in stages from September 2005 to August 2006.
The brief was to construct 2.53 km for the extension of Anthony Henday Drive, from north of Highway 16 (Yellowhead Trail) to the junction of 137th Avenue – the West Regional Road connector from Anthony Henday Drive to the junction of 137th Avenue and the future 184th Street to the West Regional Road Connector.
Opus Stewart Weir partnered with I.S.L. Engineering. Our role involved contract administration and project supervision, and encompassed project management, construction survey, quality assurance testing and final earthwork quantity calculations.
The project team comprised a project manager, construction surveyors, material testers and field crews.
This project called for GPS, Total Stations, Autocad and Caice.
