The Dunedin Town Hall redevelopment was a $45m project of substantial civic significance

It included the complete upgrade of the historic Municipal Chambers, Dunedin Centre, and the Dunedin Town Hall, which was originally built in 1929.

The major focus was on upgrading the facility to make it fit for purpose and code compliant, enabling it to meet current operational requirements. As part of this upgrade, the Municipal Chambers underwent significant alterations to provide flexible conferencing spaces, with modern connectivity features.
